The more we give, the more successful we get

Can “Inspiration” be prescribed?
June 22, 2025Now replace “get separated” with “left my job to take care of my young family” or with “was made redundant”. What you need in this case, is not to find a new partner but to comeback on your career.
Start with your CV. Assess what type of you person you want it to portray. Is that you? Are your brand attributes coming through clear enough? If not, change it. Your CV might have worked in the past but maybe it does not any more.
Are there any photos of you online? What do you think of them? Do they flatter you? Is this the real, new you?
Check your overall online identity. What does it say about you? What is your relationship with a medium (Internet) that any businessman or perspective employer in interested in? Think about it and if the answer you give to yourself is not completely satisfying, update your online identity into an appealing branded online identity.
How did you evolve while you have been out of job? Did you acquire some new interests, are you a blogger, are you keeping an online portfolio of work, are you actively participating in professional online or offline groups or associations, did you deliver any talks to small groups, did you travel a lot, did you use to decorate a lot, have you been creative in any kind of way, did you offer voluntary work?
Is it really necessary that your career comeback is absolute? Do you really need to get back to the same position, same industry, same environment? Or would it make sense to diversify?
Think about all these questions and give yourself honest and fearless answers. Also, be patient and persistent. Every change needs time to root itself. The faster you become aware of the changes, the faster you will communicate them, the faster you will get results.
The best time to start in now!
Until next week do take care of your career
